Archive Picture; Connerton Over/Under Broiler invented and produced in 1936 for Speed Cooking Steaks. First used by Sizzler Steakhouse Restaurant Chains.
Connerton Company dates its heritage in Southern California to 1936. The family kicked off the brand – Connerton – via initial appliances specially designed for speed cooking steak with innovating design ahead of its time. This was the start of designing additional cooking products with an easy user interface. This basic combination clicked too many end users on the west coast, leading to a solid market position as a commercial gas cooking manufacturer. New counter model products were added including various type of Charbroilers fit for different application and space, Thermostatic & Manual Griddles, Hot Plates, and the New Range Series giving momentum to national exposure. Throughout these 82 years, Connerton’s appliances have featured durability/endurance along with a strong performance profile, which proudly carries over to today.
For over 80 years we have been committed to building Enginuety, efficiency, and quality into our products. We believe there are no finish lines when it comes to customer care and quality.
In 2017 the family decided to move into retirement and selected a team of experienced gas cooking equipment professionals to carry on the brand. The new management team of engineers & marketing pro’s continued the legacy of Connerton Cooking Systems in June 2017.
The new team mandated a growth profile to include product line expansion, along with specification upgrades. In August 2017 Connerton design/improved the griddle family to 1” thickness standard across all models. In January 2018 Connerton introduced a family of Restaurant Ranges to both meet the new mandate and add to product line offerings.
